In all of our treatment rooms, we have two TVs and headphones for your entertainment so you can enjoy your favorite show while getting your dental work done.

Our reception room is furnished with plush couches and seats as well as magazines and books to keep you relaxed.

iPads are available for both adults and kids in the waiting room. Feel free to browse the web, play games, or get news updates before your appointment!

Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are available in our waiting room at all times for your enjoyment.

During your appointment, we provide warm neck pillows and blankets for your comfort. After your appointment, we provide warm scented face towels to keep you refreshed and looking your best!

Private Treatment Rooms

All of our treatment rooms are completely separate from other treatment rooms, meaning your conversations with the dentist won’t be overheard by other patients while having your dental work done. Each room has its own doors which can be closed for extra privacy.

Kids Play Area

Our waiting room has a kids play area furnished with iPads and fun toys to keep kids entertained before their appointment or while waiting for you to have yours done.

After your kids finish their appointment with the dentist, there are numerous toy options available for them to choose from. Our toy machines and golden tokens will be sure to have your kids excited!

Sedation

We offer nitrous (laughing gas) sedation and also oral sedation to patients who request it. This helps to calm the mind and make the dental visit more relaxing.

I have been on a waitlist for over a year in regards to get some answers for my jaw pain. I saw the reviews online for Dr. Dennis and took a shot on this clinic. This clinic ended up being the best dental office I have ever walked into. The receptionists that I dealt with were so friendly and helpful when it came to booking appointments and coordinating with my benefits. Since my first walk in, Dr. Dennis has taken everything I have said seriously and has explained treatments in a way I can actually understand. I had to get 2 fillings which was completely painless. (i really am the biggest baby with freezing) but he was so professional and calm making it totally bearable. To top it all off, Dr. Dennis himself called me in the evening to ensure I was still doing well! We went over the jaw pain and finally have a plan of action! Dental anxiety is a common issue. We want to help our patients feel comfortable and confident at every visit with us, so we've added some features to our office that we think you'll appreciate.

Amenities at Orchards Dental

Sedation – We offer both nitrous oxide and oral sedation. Let us know if you think you could benefit from sedation dentistry.
Neck pillows and blankets – We'll help you feel comfortable and cozy throughout your visit.
Topical anesthetic – If you ask anyone what they hate about going to the dentist, they'll probably tell you the shots! Applying topical anesthetic prior to a shot helps begin the numbing process and makes the shot more comfortable. A topical anesthetic can also be used during cleanings if your teeth are sensitive or you find cleanings uncomfortable.
Private treatment rooms – Your confidential information should stay that way, and our private treatment rooms help provide a sense of privacy and comfort.
TVs on the ceiling – Relax during your visit with a favorite TV show or movie.
Headphones – Many patients find that the sounds of the dental office can provoke anxiety. We provide headphones that help drown out these noises so you can have a more relaxing visit.

Dr. Dennis George Anithottam B.D.S., D.M.D.

Dr. Dennis George Anithottam graduated with his BDS in 1998 from the Government Dental College,Trivandrum, Kerala University, in Kerala, India. He completed a compulsory rotating internship (equivalent to a general practice residency in North America) in 1999 after which he practiced as a general practitioner before immigrating to Canada. Dr. Dennis worked at a general dental practice in Yellowknife for 8 years with a focus on root canals and surgical extractions as well as all other aspects of dentistry.
